  Collisions keep their distance…

  Hi I am having trouble with my scene’s collisions. They work in principle but the collision takes place a distance away from the surfaces; the objects collide at a distance. I have tried the project settings (margins, scale etc ) and tried everything with the tags, at least I think I did. I have attached the scene and screenshot of the hierarchy. The final scene will be of a hand interacting with a rope. Help much needed and appreciated.
