    Hey everyone!
    What I’d like to do is create a shadow on some extruded text.

    Here is what it looks like in C4D

    And what I’d like to do is add shadows under the letters like this mockup:

    So I just want the shadow specifically applied on the right-facing faces of the extrude but no where else.
    I was thinking I’d have to bring my animation into AE and just fake the shadow in there cuz I dont THINK I can do this on an extrude. But maybe I can?

    if it doesn’t have to stay as a parametric extrude, make it editable then use selections to add the material look you want only on those faces
