Tiny planet / water
Hey guys!
I am thinking about making a small/tiny world like these here: https://ibb.co/GvQrrv7 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2EXjwRrhoA&frags=pl%2Cwn.
Only thing that is bothering me is how to add such nice water sources like river, or lake. How can I achieve this: using displacement/bump maps, extruding water, sculpting the sphere or something completely different. What would be the most convenient way?Thanks!!!

that little tiny world looks identical to a Landscape object set to Spherical and the Sea Level set to something non-zero

Damn, I have never noticed that landscape has a spherical mode. Thanks! But what about this one: https://ibb.co/GvQrrv7 where river wraps the whole sphere around?

that looks (at least the part we can see in the still) like one (or maybe two) sphere(s) that either use sculpting or displacement (no point in using bump excepting for details) to make the canal/river. Possibly the lakes are the same, done by hand, or maybe it’s part spherical Landscape and part sculpt/displacement map.
