    Hi there,

Would be great if someone could help on this issue I’m having as can’t get past it.

The footage below I seem to be getting a flicker on the same objects even if I change the material.

Below are some of the parameters I’m using

    – Arnold Renderer/materials
    – HDRI lighting
    – Camera (AA) 4/5

Hope you can shead some light on this.
    Cheers!

I thought this might be the case, but raised the areas away from any other geometry & the problem remained 🙁

Render without arnold and lights and textures and GI. And start adding things along. I’m out of guesses by just looking at that.

If you strip the project down to just the road object, does it still flickers?

Hey man thanks for your help.
Unfortunately it still flickers with just the road isolated.

I’ve been through the diagnostics menu in the Arnold render settings and ‘Ignore Shaders’ eliminates flicker, but not sure what that tells me ha!

    Any other suggestions to try?

    Thanks again

Manage to isolate the issue to the camera.

When I render with a camera the flicker is there, when I just use the perspective view it’s not present.

    any thoughts on a resolution?

    Thanks again for you help

Can you upload that stripped down file?

Attached a link below to the project with just the offending objects/materials + cameras + Arnold sky + Floor.

Thanks so much for the help!

I guess I still need a TEX folder with the road, hdri and etc. that were used. Can’t reproduce without it.

What I mean is that though you can see it working with just the .c4d file. I don’t have access to the textures there are stored localy on your machine. I may have the hdri (need to check), but I’ll still need the road texture. I’m rendering without it atm to see if I spot anything anyway.

Make sure you have to right camera set too, cause by default I don’t see any movement. (I’m missing that gorillaCam plugin though)

I’ve just swapped out the existing road geometry to a ‘Plane’ instead of a flattened cube and it seems to be working at the moment (touch wood)

    Will keep you updated.
    Thankyou so much for helping!
