Can’t move motion tracker tags / can’t rotate or transform motion tracker
I’m working on motion tracking in C4D 20.059
I’ve tried everything to rotate the motion tracker – I selected it, hit “r” to rotate, made sure it was in object selection mode, checked if hitting, “L” helped, reinstalled twice, cleared prefs, etc. and I’m at my wits’ end as to why it won’t let me rotate the selection. Attached you’ll see the gizmo shows up, but it’s greyed out, and I’m unable to use it.
I moved past the issue, and decided to ignore it, but now, when I’m trying to select and move my planar constraint tags in the viewport, not only am I unable to move/transform/rotate the tag, but the cursor disappears and no selection is allowed to be made.
I’m sure it must be some silly oversight or dumb mistake, but I’m tearing my hair out. I’ve referred to creative cow to answer questions since like, 2007 but it’s the first time I’ve made an account to ask a question because I can’t find my answer anywhere.

try this on CGTalk, that looks like Noseman’s tutorial for R19 and I know he watches that forum

Hello, place the Motion Tracker in a Null and Modify the Null instead.
