    Hi
    My boss is not going to buy TOON IT! or VIDEO GOGH so I need to figure out a way to achieve similar look with whatever After Effects has installed by default. Do any of you have suggestions or have you seen any similar tutorials online?

    For video Gogh I would play around with brush strokes and the median filter.

    For the cartoon look Aahorn did some tutorials on this subject…

    Anf if you’re subscried to the COW’s Newsletter and read it, you would have known that AE CS4 will include a Cartoon render plugin. Checkout Barend’s post here a few days ago.

    In the meantime, do like what Mark has suggested and go through Aaron’s extensive tutorial.
