  • Selecting Polygons based on the part of the texture they are using.

    Hi!
Basically exactly what the subject says ????. I have a mesh that uses two different parts of 1 texture. I want to select all the polygons that use just one part of the texture … I’m not sure if this is possible but I could also select the polygons based on their color as they are all just two different colors.

A quick response would be amazing as the deadline is approaching quickly.

    Cheers!

If a texture only maps to certain faces then there will be a selection set as a tag. It will be named something and the texture will have the same name in its target. Set C4D to faces (or polys – instead of model or points or lines) then select the selection tag you want and in the attributes you can select “restore selection”. That will light up (select) all the polys associated with that selection set.
