Hello, I am trying to fill a pot with gold coins, and am not having much luck. Essentially, I’m looking to make the pot a least appear to be piled high with the coins. Not necessarily to be filled after the start of the animation, like with an emitter, but to just look like there is a pot full of coins

I’d fill the bowl using a standard emitter and dynamics, cache the dynamics, and then right-click on the emitter and select, “make editable.” That’ll give you your static bowl of coins and you can then delete the emitter.

I think I got it half way figured out, I’ll give your suggestion a shot. I would show you what I’ve come up with, but both times I’ve tried to upload a file, it’s told me it can’t be found. Not sure why, I even use the file I’m uploading to open C4D so I know it works

So, because I can’t seem to upload to show what I’ve done, I’ll explain.

I have gotten the coins to fill my pot with the emitter, but no matter how long I run it for, it never seems to fill more than half way or so, and I’m looking to fill it at least enough to where it kind of piles up in the middle a bit above the top

Hard to say what the problem is without the file. Here’s an example where the bowl fills up and a few spill out before the emitter stops:

I adjusted a few of the default settings in Edit>Project Settings>Dynamics>Advanced. Notably, I increased the steps per frame and reduced the scale.
