  • Possible Major Bug in Recent C4D Update

I am experiencing a pretty serious Bug in C4D since updating to the newest update within R18. I’ve attached a file, please let me know if you experience the same problem.
When moving the Controller Data slider to move the cube via XPresso, the cube jumps in position.
This happens when a Spline is used within the Range Mapper and when either end of the Spline is moved off either end. For example, if the beginning of the spline is set to 0, its fine, but if its moved to 0.1, the jump occurs.
I’ve reported the Bug to Maxon, and have tested on 2 computers.
If anyone else is running the most recent version of R18, please see if you have the same issue.

i see the same issue but I don’t know if that is a bug or a feature. Report it since it’s changed since 17. Easy to fix though (don’t drag the first point off 0 just add a new point).

Its a bug, I confirmed with Maxon. R18 has been fine until the latest update that came out about a week ago.

While making a second point does work, I have a lot of existing animations where the first point starts somewhere other than at the 0 for a delay in moving multiple objects.
