Hey everyone, I’m currently working on this music video where in this shot a bunch of mini floating heads are in this toilet. Everything looks great, the only problem that I found is that some of the textures on the heads are bugged. I didn’t really know if there was a name for this kind of texture glitch I was having so I took some screenshots.

The textures are animated mov files and they have animated alpha channels in the same format. The backdrop they are on is also an mov file all the video textures are in the same format.

Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks!

    Hey Steve,
That looks like the element that has the movie texture on it is sitting in the exact same location as another object (surface of the water perhaps?) As the render goes along it constantly deciding what is “above” and below but due to round off errors or just limited decimal places the blocks of texture that are being looked at by the rendered flick in front or behind just a fraction causing banding or pixelation as the rearward object shines through.
