  Magnify effect along a path

  I have a path on a map
  I’d like an effect like magnify along a path.

  I create a path on a map. I use a Generate Strong effect for a path.
  This work.

  I copy Mask Path,
  then click on Effect, Distort, Magnify,
  and I paste over Effects, Magnify, Center.

  But when I start RAM Preview
  the Center of Magnify effect is not over my path.
  Help.

  Put the magnify effect on an adjustment layer, above your map layer. Paste the keyframes (making sure you’re at frame 0), then adjust the adjustment layers anchor point, until the magnify effect is in the desired starting position.

  If you have other layers in your comp, you’ll need to precompose the adjustment and map layers (to prevent the adjustment layer affecting other layers).
