    Hi.

I have been trying to apply a stoke effect which will hopefully reveal an image. I have tried setting it up with a null layer, solid layer, and a shape layer.

I have a photoshop file (this has images with paths) i export the paths using psd/export/paths to illustrator.

in illustrator all that is visible is the paths. i select the paths copy and past them to a new comp layer in after effects (this comp will have a null, solid, or a shaper layer. I think i want to bring them is as paths them copy them again to make a mask, then apply the stroke effect. the problem i am encountering is that the path layer from photoshop has a stroke of 3 pixels per path. I can not get After effects to performa reveal original image.

    can anyone help?
