  Adding a image to an object

  Hey all,
  Can’t find the answer to this. I have an image I added to an object and I got it to be transparent but when render out to see how it looks the rendered version takes away the red background behind it. Note the red bg is on a separate layer and not attached to the eagle image.

  Do you have ambient occlusion turned on?

  Thanks for the idea. I think that was it. After posting I kept trying different things to make it work. And I do believe that si what made it work. Thank so much.
