    Hi,
I was trying the recreate this very interesting and short “tutorial”
https://vimeo.com/127165299 on parametric modeling in C4D but of course what I see is not what I get.

First problem is with the Sweep NURBS for the dome surface: I know with Sweep NURBS you get strange rotations but to me it just looks like: 1. an open XY semicircular spline for cross section contour 2. an almost straight spline Z for path 3. a bean shaped closed spline XZ on the floor for rail (2-rail?); put everything in Sweep NURBS, done. Instead i get strange and weird and twisted shapes which I can’t figure out.

And, I also tried to deform the very same hex grid in a rectangular shape with Mesh Deformer in a cube cage (driven by PoseMorph): yes, I get the rectangular shape but “different”, just a linear expansion outwards; but in tut looks like some kind of exponential or bulge deformation, e.g. more deformation in center and almost none in the pentagonal borders (“pentagons” mantain their sides parallel). Any advice?
Hex Grid Deformation attached, many thanks
