    SSIA…

I’m making a water surface/rain/pond ripples effect for a project and I was wondering if anyone has done this using a plane and Collision Deformer instead of a using a texture shader?

My goal is for different sized particles and particles falling at different velocities to make different sized ripples. If there is a way to accomplish this using the ripple shader that’s fine too, but I haven’t been able to fine one.

You can use multiple ripple shaders. You would need a separate shader for each emitter. You can do that by placing them in a Layer Shader. Each ripple shader above the base layer should be set to Overlay transfer mode.
