    Hi,

I am BRAND new to Cinema 4D. I have downloaded an OBJ file of a heart. I am trying to get it to look like it’s beating. I’m using a formula effector, with just the rotation parameters active. When I animate it, you can see all the little jutting polygons/triangles. Is there a way I can smooth this out, so it really looks like a beating heart? I have posted a youtube video addressing this:

Please help! I am so new to Cinema 4D that I’m pretty overwhelmed by it.

    Thanks

typically you might toss it into a Subdivision Surface object but hard to tell with that construction if that is going to work well. What are the settings in the Phong tag on the heart?
