    I got some great help from Brian Jones on my Xpresso based Lattice Generator and I thought others might have a use for it. You can download it from here:

    The Xpresso program fits (x) number of slats within a frame. As the frame dimensions are changed, the spacing between slats is kept uniform. As the number of slats or their width changes, likewise the spacing between them remains uniform.

    My intention is to use C4D to generate a lattice and export it for CAD use (in lesser programs : ).

    The X and Y slats here are parametric cubes and I did not implement control over their Z axis as I do not need it.

    I just want to say thanks again to Brian Jones who generously helped iron out a couple of flaws and got it working properly.

    Here’s a link to the latest version which adds a HUD and ties the widths of the slats in the X and Y axes together. It’d be rare indeed when they would need to be different from each other.
