I want to animate changing color for the sofa seat. So the armrest stays the same color, but the seat changes color. I know how to change the color, but how do I make keyframes for it. I crtl clicked the tiny dot next to color in the material, but it doesn’t change the color in my animation. It stays the same color throughout the whole animation. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Is there a texture applied in the Color channel as well? That would overwrite the chosen color.

also are there two keyframes? If you only set one keyframe rather than one for the start and one for the change (at least) you will only get one color.
