    Hello,

I occasionally inadvertently rotate an orthographic (left, right, top) view. I cannot see why this would ever be useful, and it’s really annoying having to switch to another view and then back again to reset it. Is there some preference or setting hidden away somewhere to disable this silly behaviour? Or maybe a keyboard shortcut to reset the view?

    Many thanks for any suggestions,

    Paul

Yeah, this was a really unfortunate change and there’s no way to prevent it. But you can correct it pretty easily by holding down the shift key and rotating back to the proper angle.

Thanks! I didn’t realise shift would constrain a view rotation.

It’s also possible to Cmd/Ctrl-shift-Z to undo the accidental camera move

I find it quite useful in the Top view to be able to rotate it, in fact, I’ve wanted to be able to do this for some time. Maybe Maxon can put in some kind of lock button to prevent unwanted rotation of the view. And then when you unlock it you can rotate it.
