  • Duplication tools in C4D– when do they stop being editable?

It SEEMS (says the noob) that certain tools in C4D stay “hot” for a while, and then at a certain point become static: specifically I’m talking about tools like DUPLICATE.

For a while, you can adjust various parameters of DUPLICATE,like position and rotation offsets or the ## of duplicates being generated, but then at some point the tool parameters go away and it is no longer adjustable.

What, exactly, IS that point at which DUPLICATE stops being editable?

    Tnx.

usually the Apply starts what the tool does and you can change settings until you deselect the object or hit New Transform or change tools. basically you have to do it while it’s hot when you see that particular interface
