In Maya, you can hold down “K”, click anywhere in a viewer window and drag to scrub time. This feature is awesome and needs to be in C4D. I hate having to scrub the top area of the timeline.

    I’ve requested through Maxon’s site.

    Just venting.

Yeah, it sucks that you have to use the J key in Cinema instead of the K key as in Maya. 😉

Well, you can reassign it (it’s called Timewarp) to K if you want.

    HAHA! You’re a life saver!

    Why was that so hidden???

    Anyway, thanks Adam. Huge help.

To be honest I didn’t even know about it until about six months ago … and I’ve been using Cinema since R6. The name Timewarp doesn’t help. If it was something more literal, like scrub timeline, it would be easier to find in the command manager.

Agreed. I’ve never even heard of Timewarp in C4D. Thanks for the help.
