  Logo Falling into Grass Hiccups

  Hi,

  I am trying to get a logo to drop into grass, short like on a sports field, effect the grass and then lay in the grass while the grass kind of interacts with it realistically when it comes to a stop.

  I am having a few issues.

  1. The grass continues to vibrate underneath and around the edges of the logo instead of slowly coming to a stop

  2. In the center of the logo the grass still pokes through the logo.

  I have attached some frames of my dynamics settings and the animation itself.

  

  

  

  I also originally used a floor for the dynamics and a plane for the hair but have taken care of that so the plane is the dynamic area but am still seeing the grass poke through.

  If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

  Also, one more quick thing. Sometimes when i try and play the timeline i am getting the pinwheel and I can’t stop C4D from trying to play each frame even when i hit stop on the play controls. Is there a way to freeze it ? Similar hitting caps lock in aftereffects will stop it from trying to render the frame.
