  Sky from afternoon until night

  Hi folks,

  I need to recreate a sky from just before the sun sets until nighttime going through all the stages blue to yellow – orange – purple – night.

  One option is to stitch together stock footage, however the tricky things is that my footage needs to play over the course of a few hours. My fallback plan is to buy stock clips of each of those timeframes and loop them.

  My first choice however would be to create it from scratch using some type of sky generator plug in. The problem is that I cannot find such a plug in.

  Any suggestions?

  If you don’t need realistic clouds you can use Cinema’s built-in physical sky object. If you need something more realistic the only plugin I know of is Ozone, but it’s a bit pricey (https://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/ozone/ozone_6.0//).
