  Glowing Text

  I want to have an effect where there is essentially a spotlight behind some text and I want the light to pan behind the text and somewhat flash as it gets to the middle.

  Trapcode Shine is really awesome. You could try adding an Exposure effect to your light and keyframing the overexposure. I don’t know if that would even work but its worth a try.
