  Renders out of Sync

  This is the 2nd time this has happend to me so I must be doing something wrong

  I render out two single passes of the same scene in C4D. One the final render and one a mask

  But when I take them inro after effects they don’t line up. They slip slightly out of sync making the mask useless.

  I interpret the footage with same frame rate in AE. They only difference between two that one is rendered as an exr and the other, the mask as a jpeg.

  Any thoughts anyone , it’s driving me mad

  When can you start to notice the frame mismatch?

  Check if they have the exaclty same number of frames. And zoom in AE to check if they are perfeclty alligned from the start. Also if you have the any of them inside another comp. Make sure both comps are at the same frame rate also.
