    Hey Guys,

I was wondering how this is done in C4D
    at 11 seconds:

    https://vimeo.com/11837695

Something creates a gap in the black ball and then the black ball suck the pink ball up.

Metaball doesn’t work, metaball only suck an object. not create a gap in a object.
softbody dynamics tried. it only can overlap the collider object but not suck it up
    of enclose an object.

Actually you can create metaballs with negative influence by using the metaball tag. Not sure if that’s how he created that specific effect, but he’s using it other places in the animation so it might be that in combination with displacement/deformers.

    Thanks Adam,

Thats very helpful, were getting somewhere.

The suck and gap part works a bit now, but dont get a big gap like the example
video. and the after shocking and behavior is hard to fix. it to static..

with displacements and deformers applying on a geometry its get wrong..because the geometry
    is in the metaball group.
