I have an object that has a ridiculous amount of polys do to to many subdivisions. Its to late to simple reload the file and start over. How Can I remove a good portion of intermediate points. I cant seem to get the poly reduction deformer to work. The object has no rounding only straight and perpendicular sides, just massively subdivided (something I didn’t catch earlier).

Is there a way to simply remove intermediate points?

If the edges are continuous you can sue the loop selection tool to pick them and then use the dissolve command to get rid of them.
