Alpha Channel PNG sequence
How can I import a PNG sequence into Cinema with an alpha background? note: this sequence is going in as a background layer and I exported it from After Effects with an alpha channel, when importing into Cinema the channel went black with blue blotches all over it.

Do you have the PNG sequence loaded into both the Color and Alpha channels of the material? Does the Alpha channel preview thumbnail look correct? If not you might try switching some of the checkboxes in the Alpha channel.

the sequence is loaded into both channels and the alpha preview looks fine. thanks for your help anyway!

I think we’d have to see a frame or two of your sequence of pngs to see if anything looks unusual
