    Hi all,
I was playing around with a project where I wanted to add pixie dust to a scene. If anyone uses after effects and has used particle illusion, it’s these type of particles I’m looking to create. They have nice glows and gleams etc. Any suggestions for preset particles in C4D similar to this?

Here’s a plug-in to check out. Give the trial a shot and see if it will work for you.

Particle Illusion and Particular are essentially particle systems that use placards or alpha-mapped images that alway face the camera. You can do something similar with MoGraph by cloning onto a particle generator (standard or TP) and using a target effector to make the clones always face the camera.

Or there is a dedicated plugin called Stormtracer that can create these sorts of effects: https://www.thirdpartyplugins.com/stormtracer/

But ST doesn’t have its own particle system.
