    Hi

    I’m trying to make a card castle in C4d that collapses and then the individual cards spell out a name.

    I have made the card castle by using the cloner object. I have then used the inheritance effector to make the cards spell out the words.

    Here is a basic render of the project;

    The problem I have is that the cards pass through each other, as shown in the picture;

    How do I stop the cards passing through each other as they morph into the words? I have tried mograph dynamics, but when I use them the dynamics takes over and the card castle just collapes and no longer morphs into the shape of the text.

    Thanks in advance.

    It’s tricky but you need to use the dynamics tag’s follow animation parameters, and also key off dynamics at the end so that the objects follow the final pattern exactly. The dynamic transition parameter also comes into play.

    Thank you very much. I’m going to give that a try now.
