  Shadow Catcher Problems

  Hi There

  Really would appreciate any help you could give me on this.

  Basically setting up a scene that needs to be composited back over live action.

  I found the Shadow Catcher plug in and have followed the tutorial (i deffinately clicked invert) to the letter but am getting weird effects.

  Instead of a transparent alpha i’m getting grey textures that the renderer will pump out as a grey floor.

  any ideas how to solve this? I know its an older plug in – are their any better methods for getting shadows now?

  i am in cinema 13.

  help really appreciated.
