    Hi all,
I have been trying for ages to find a way to do a colour change to an object in a wipe movement.

I am creating a 3d diagram of an engine and need to show the direction of diesel through the pipes the client wants to show this by changing the colour of the material as the diesel flows through the pipes.

I know in after effects you can do this type of thing with linear wipe but how is it done in c4d.

    Thanks

You can create masks and animate them in the LAYER shader. Just put in the channel you are using for the shader.
