So i’ve got my text in C4D, it just basically speeds from a far distance right up close to the camera.

But it stops suddenly. Is there a way I could get it to speed right up to the camera(as it already does) but then get pulled back a bit? Like it’s stuck on a bungee cord, but realistic looking?

What you should adjust is the Bézier spline points of you animation path to change the interpolation path. You can find some quick options in key > spline type in the timeline menu.

You can also edit the splines directly by hitting space bar in the timeline and selecting the parameter you want to adjust.

    hope this helps

One way to do this is with a spring constraint (in character>constraint tag). So, for example, you would animate a null instead of the text and then use a spring constraint on the text to move it with the null.
