I have been trying to make some simple shapes, but they are not rendering correctly. They should be hard edged, but they render to look curved or beveled. I have not used any hyper nurbs. They have pretty basic geometry, I tried to divide the shapes up in more sections but that didnt seem to help. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is a phong shading issue. Lower the angle limit in your objects’ phong tags.
