  get material texture to open in photoshop

  Hi all Im working on a mac and when i go material – colour -texture – edit image.
  My texture opens up in preview, i need to get this set to open in photoshop I know its in preferences somewhere but i can find it, can anybody help me thanks Emmet.

  It’s based on the default set by your computer for that type of file. Some files are default to photoshop like .psd’s.

  You need to find a file that is the same type and change the default application for that type/file extension.

  These links should help once you figure out what type of file it is.
