    Why wont this work?! ive spent all day on this and am out of time. i did a test with a spline and a torus and worked fine. In the project youll see im trying to basically thread a needle, i have the needle floating around and obviously want the thread to stay looped in the hole of the needle. I mean i know initially the needle moves fast and maybe thats where the problem is (even though cranking the sub frame steps to a ridiculous amount should fix that but it didnt affect it at all). And thought maybe it was like when you use mograph dynamics, its using the bounding box of the geometry by default to collide. Im out of ideas so it would be great if someone could help me out here thats a little more savvy with spline dynamics.

    Before posting here i found some answers that are kind of the inverse of what i need. Most people want their object attached to the end of the string and reacting accordingly, i need a point of my string to be attached, or collide with my object and react to it. thanks.

    Open to any alternative suggestions to achieve this.
