    Hi

I was wondering what the fastest way to set up a bucky ball with logos on each surface of a platonic Bucky. My logos are PNG’s with transparency which I am setting up with the color and alpha channels. What I am trying so far is, after I have converted the Bucky to an editable object, I am then making a polygon selection for each facet and dragging my material to that selection. I having trouble getting the material to project correctly. on the facets. Using Flat projection, I am having to do a lot of length U and length V changes as well as offsetting, and it never comes out perfect. I figure there must be an easier way.

I have tried a bunch of different projections types.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Robyn

I’m only half the thing I say I am, the other half are me.

I don’t think there is an easier way unless your object has UVs set up, in which case you could use UVW mapping.
