    Hi!

I am rather the newbie at rigging, and despite countless hours google searching I could not find an answer to this.

How would you go about to add say a weapon to an already rigged character? The way I have done it so far is to just add the rifle or whatever weapon I am using as an actual part of the mesh that I am rigging, and then add an extra bone for said weapon. The results are usually very inaccurate. I am pretty sure I am doing it completely wrong.

    Advice appriciated!

    Thanks!

    Howdy,

Normally, I’d parent a Null object to the hand joint and then PSR constrain the weapon to the Null object.

If the character needs to hold the weapon with both hands I’d do the same thing as above, then I’d parent another Null object to the weapon, positioned where the other hand needs to hold it, and then PSR constrain the other hand’s controller to that Null object.

    Adios,
