I’m a new user of C4D and trying to create a tube version of a sine wave spline. The sine wave was created as a spline primitive formula and lengthened to fill the entire stage. I want to turn the spline primitive into a long sine wave tube with a circular diameter. Extruding the sine wave does not work since I can’t seem to get it circular. I’m sure this is easy, but as a newbie I’m striking out.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

Never mind… I figured it out.

Usually I like to post answers I’ve received or solutions I’ve found in the threads so that people searching the forums for answers can find them in the future.

I’m assuming what you did was to use your spline in conjuction with a circular spline in a sweep nurbs.

You’re right about posting my solution and what you said is exactly what I did. C4D is really pretty straight-forward for a 3D program and is allowing me to figure out quite a bit on my own.

Yes. I found the learning curve to be a manageable one.
The help files that come with it actually have several very useful tutorials in them and a purchase of Cinema 4d also includes a few months of membership in Cineversity. I would highly recommend you take advantage of them.
