    hi,

I am doing an opening title sequence. I have what I am calling “Half Pipes” which I am putting video clips onto the materials for. I’m putting the videos in the luminance channel, and going into edit, and calculating frames in the animation tab, but I keep getting these black frames and then entire black seconds when I render this.

The camera tracks through, timed to the music, but the video clips go black and I just don’t get it. I’ve tried three different formats of quicktime clips, I have it set to loop in the animation tab, and I time the videos to the length of the animation too. Any thoughts?

Many times, black frames or black video can be solved by using an image sequence rather than a video. I would give it a try. Also what version of C4D are you using, and what version of QT do you have installed?

QT 10, C4D 12. I’ve had this work in the past, on older versions of C4D, It is completely not working here though.

Is QT 7.6.6 installed too? (perhaps it should be – not that I know that for sure)
