    Hey everyone,

Been staring at a C4D render in AE for about 30 minutes now, stumped. I have a scene with an object orbiting around a sphere that I decided to render as a still for render time purposes. From Cinema, I have object buffers for the sphere and the “line” passing from behind it to in front of it.

Is this impossible to do in comp so that the line doesn’t show up in front of the sphere AFTER it passes over? I feel like a complete moron for even asking this.

You need a clean plate as well. So just render out the background object and place it at the bottom of the comp. So your object buffer cuts a hole in the original render showing the clean plate under… hopefully seamless.
