  • Light cuts out randomly during sequence

I’m fairly new to C4D, but I’ve been learning a lot and enjoying myself. That is until I started having an issue with one of my lights. I have a 6 lights I’m using, but halfway through my sequence a majority of my lights shut off! I can’t figure it out!! There are no keyframes changing positions or brightness settings at all that I see in my timeline. Can someone help me out please? I’m working on C4D V 11.5

    Thanks!

If you can post your file, it would be helpful. If you’re not comfortable doing that (ie client project) perhaps you can pare it down to jut the important bits?

When you say “about half way through” Can you specify a frame number? I’ve scrolled through the scene looking at the intensity of the various lights and I don’t see them change.

between frames 103 and 104. It can be seen when you render it

It’s not a problem with a lights; rather, you’ve keyed on the diffusion channel of the material that’s on the big cube surrounding your scene.

Looks like you had auto keying on at some point and inadvertently dropped keys on a lot of things.

Thank you so much!!!!! I remember playing around with the diffusion settings to see what effects it would have. I should’ve switched it back.
