Create this effect?
Posted by Ben Mcnulty on July 31, 2008 at 5:48 amHi.
I was wondering how I could create this effect:

There is about 8 bars that shine after each other and then a logo comes in.The effects I want to know are:
The light shinning out…
And the reflective, 3d style text that comes in.

July 31, 2008 at 5:00 pmThere isn’t anything in that clip that cannot be created easily and readily in After Effects without additional plugs. “Easy” is relative. there are more than 400 plugins loading when AE starts, which ones do the job? Experimentation and experience and watching every free tutorial on the Net.
You just need to locate the correct filters by playing around with them and then search for tutorials on how to use them.bogiesan
This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

August 1, 2008 at 12:33 pm-the light-ray fx is easy,- in AE pro-video-gold-blah-production-premium edition the build in effects is called:
-cc light rays.
there is no hardcore effect on the titles.(and the cake is a lie)
its just a “nice” photoshot bevel-title work an a lightly animated bevel in AE.
not so hard work.
i guess the clou is to analyze nice work and break it down to the easy way to recreat it in your own style.cheers-
Filip
back again, finaly.
