  Automatic Duck HD Import

  working on a quad 2.5 mac

  final cut studio w/ automatic duck exporting to AE 7.0

  Video Card is a Kona…

  here’s the problem…

  when i export via the duck into AE, my HD footage looks very bland…

  now, i’ll apple/f in my project window and hit 1. lower field and 2. check ‘Expand ITU-R 601 Luma Levels (this helps tremendously)..

  but…

  when i open up, in my project window, the imported file…and compare it to what’s in my composition window…there is a huge difference!!!! i’m missing the vividness/color in my composition window…

  this does not happen with SD footage…everything is fine…it’s the HD imports…

  am i missing something?
