    Hi,

I own AE CS3 and am what I would call an intermediate to experience user. Since yesterday however, I have encountered an annoying problem. Normally, transparency is displayed as a checkerboard (white and light gray). Now, for some reason transparency is showing up as solid white which is not useful to me (Yes, I’ve tried toggling the “Toggle transparency grid button”).

I’ve tried restarting both AE and my computer but to no avail. I can only assume that I’ve unwittingly changed some sort of preference. Given that assumption I tried to find where the transparency preference is located but I can’t find it. I know that in Photoshop one can change how transparency looks (e.g. pink, checkerboard, etc.) but I just can’t find the setting in AE.

    Please help.

    Did anyone ever solve this?
    I suddenly have this problem.
    It’s been 12 years, someone must have a solution…
