    Hello everyone!
I would like to create a 3d word, that is completely ornamented with lots of small jewels. It should not only be a flat gold material, but hundreds of small 3d gems glued to the objects sides. like a very expensive crown. All gems could be of the same shape. How could i create something like this? With materials? Or expresso? Any hint or tutorial link would be great.

    Thank you very much!

Thank you Randy. I try to check this out. But as far as I know I don’t have this plug in in my Cinema 4d release 10. I’ll be back!

Mograph was a module for version 10. You had to buy it extra even for the studio bundle I believe.

I dont know how you have modeled the object or anything but you can get the Duplicate tool (found in Functions menu.) to duplicate along a spline. Then you can create instances of it to fill in the area.

Hopefully some one has a better answer.
