This is a two part question.
Im trying to create an animation of a mountain forming/ growing with falling rocks and avalanches.
Im attempting to animate a terrain object and use a TP surface emitter to create the rocks but I have a few problems.
Im getting good results animating the size and both furrow parameters. But to use the surface emitter, I need to make the terrain object editable. When I bake the animation and then make the object editable, I loose my animation. What am I doing wrong there? (I did it with the pose morph tag but its not the same and doesn’t look as good)
Question two: Im using a static terrain object as a test to set it up as a surface emitter.
Ive got the dynamics in place so that when the rocks are emitted, they roll slowly down the mountain.
The problem is that as there emitted, they register a collision with the terrain object that’s emitting them and the pop out. It doesn’t look natural.
How can I get the rocks to not pop off the surface as there emitted.
Ive done a lot of tweaking and im still stumped.
    Sample project attached. (R12)
