    Hey Folks,

Workin on a VU meter type animation using a cloner object to create the various LED bulbs for the meter. Works great, no issues there, however, I’m trying to apply a material to the cloner using a shader effector that breaks the meter in Green, Yellow, and Red bulbs…also, no problem there…the problem is that I’m trying to make the material transparent and reflective, you know, like a bulb is supposed to be.

For whatever reason, when I attach a transparent material to the shader effector…no dice. i get the color, but no transparency or reflection.

I even tried applying a clear materal directly to the cloner object and then applying the shader effector on top of that…still no luck.

Anybody have any thoughts on how to get around this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Ryan

Effectors are only capable of transmitting color information. For full material effects you have to use the MoGraph color shader or multi-shader in a regular material.
