    Hi,
I have a bunch of splines that I’m extruding. I’d like to use separate extrude nurbs so that I can give them different textures. I’m trying to use 1 placeholder EN that I then drag into expresso, and feed the values for depth, fillet type, fillet radius etc into the other EN’s. I can copy each object in expresso, but when I copy the object the port connections are deleted. I then have to reconnect the ports to the placeholder for each object. I’m wondering if there’s a way to copy an expresso node and keep the wires connected to the input object, or if there is an obvious easier way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Mike

Unfortunately you just have to do it for each node.

You only need to make one XPresso tag and for the target EN Object Node use —
Reference Mode – Use Start Position
    Start Postion – This Object
    Start Distance – 1
    History Depth – 1

Once it’s set up the way you want you can just copy the XPresso tag to all the other Extrudes

Good thinking. Now that I think about it, you cuold also use set driven keys and apply them to a multi-selection of objects.

On second second thought, you could avoid Xpresso altogether but using a selection object referencing all the extrude nurbs. Just select all of them and make the changes.
