  • Rendering Tracer Objects using Sketch and Toon

Posted by Rajarshi Basu on July 19, 2010 at 7:19 pm

    Hi ,

I am trying to render out an animation that has some Tracer objects. Now I am trying to get the streaks in Sketch and Toon mode using a water color preset. But every-time I I select Sketch and Toon in my main render, my entire animation gets rendered in Sketch and Toon. IS there anyway to get selective S & T for my render/ animation ?

    Thanks

    Raj

There’s quite a bit of flexibility in S&T. You can turn off background and object shading in a sketch material or in the post effect. You can exclude/include objects in the Sketch effect, or you can use sketch render tags to create per/object settings.

In your case you’d probably be best off going into the sketch effect’s render tab, setting the mode to “include”, and dragging your tracer object into the include box. You can also turn off shading in the shading tab if you like.
